El presente artículo pretende realizar un recorrido histórico a lo largo del desarrollo del programa nuclear de Corea del Norte, analizando sus consecuencias para la seguridad global, y dedicando una atención preferente al desarrollo de los acontecimientos relacionados con el mismo que se produjeron durante el año 2017. Se exponen así mismo y de manera detallada los ensayos nucleares realizados por este país en los últimos años y las resoluciones adoptadas por la Organización de Naciones Unidas y se revisan los principales modelos de misiles balísticos desarrollados por el régimen norcoreano a fin de obtener una perspectiva integral de la situación The present paper intends to make a historical journey through the development of the nuclear program of North Korea, analyzing its consequences for the global security, and devoting a preferential attention to the development of the events related to the same one that took place during the year 2017.
