Niveles de productos software en la industria 4.0

Abstract

En el presente artículo, se introduce una tipología de productos software que específicamente están implantados en la industria manufacturera en la actualidad, de modo tal de diferenciarlos por niveles de innovación, según el tiempo de uso que lleven en el mercado y el valor que agreguen en las funciones que cumplen en las estructuras organizativas de las empresas. Esta tipología permite determinar aquellos productos software que impactan directamente en los niveles de productividad y permitirían transformar a una compañía en una industria 4.0. El impacto en la industria que generan las nuevas Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TICs) favorece la detección de fallos, la mejora de procesos, y la aceleración en los tiempos de producción, variables todas que alteran sensiblemente los niveles de productividad en los diferentes sectores industriales donde se implementen. Si bien en la actualidad las empresas utilizan diversos productos software en sus procesos de administración, comercialización o finanzas, entre otras áreas, la inserción de tecnologías en la automatización y control de procesos de producción en la industria manufacturera está generando una nueva revolución industrial que cambia el paradigma de control de procesos mediante la recolección de muestras probabilísticas para trabajar con la totalidad de los datos, logrando almacenar y analizar grandes volúmenes de datos en tiempo real, impactando sobre la optimización de los procesos productivos
