Se analiza el papel de algunos penalistas y psiquiatras en la guerra civil española. Los más mediocres y extremistas se hicieron con el control de la Universidad, mientras que los que destacaban por sus inquietudes intelectuales fueron fusilados, o tuvieron que resignarse a un exilio latinoamericano, dejando su huella en las principales universidades de América Latina. The role of some criminologists and psychiatrists in the Spanish Civil War is analyzed. The control of the Spanish University was in the most mediocres and extremists hands, while people who stood out by their intellectual interests were executed or had to resign themselves to a Latin American exile, leaving their mark in major Latin American Universities.
