The paleostress analysis are used here to outline the Alpine deformation of the contact between the Toledo Mountains and the Madrid Basin. This limit results from a system of E-W-trending reverse faults, NW-SE-trending dextral normal strike-slip faults and NNE-SSW-trending sinistral normal strike-slip faults
