A methodology is proposed with the goal of obtaining optimal configurations of local seismological networks. This is performed by the analysis o f characteristic parameters like covariance matrix , condition number, etc. Some tests have been made by using simple geometrical configurations and a local network has been proposed for the Entrepenas reservoir
