Nuevos retos a las relaciones laborales

Abstract

En este artículo, el autor plantea lo que considera nuevos retos para las relaciones laborales. El análisis comienza revelando la existencia de una dinámica dual, que es, a la vez, contradictoria: de cooperación y de rivalidad. En la regulación del conflicto planteado, el papel de las instituciones económicas es fundamental. Dado que, este proceso, en curso, es fruto de las transformaciones socio/económicas, tanto a nivel macro (global), como micro (empresarial). Además, estos cambios han producido amplios impactos “extrasistémicos”; viéndose afectada la esfera eco/social. Las respuestas dadas se han asociado, más, con la modulación de la corriente económica dominante, que con la oposición a ésta. Queda reflejado, entre otras cuestiones, en la apuesta sindical por la negociación. En contraposición, el autor plantea la necesidad de un modelo alternativo, más cooperativo y equitativo, en el universo de las relaciones laborales. Solo así, el trabajo heterónomo será una oportunidad para el crecimiento social.

In this article, the author suggests what he considers new challenges for labor relations. The analysis begins by revealing the existence of a dual dynamic, which is, at the same time, contradictory: cooperation and rivalry. In the regulation of the proposed conflict, the role of economic institutions is fundamental. Since, this process, in progress, is the result of social and economic transformations, in both macro (global) and micro (business) levels. Furthermore, these changes have produced extensive "extra-systemic" impacts, consequently the eco / social sphere is being affected. The replies given have been associated, more, with the modulation of the dominant economic current, than with the opposition to it. It is reflected, among other issues, in the union's commitment to negotiation. In contrast, the author raises the need for an alternative, more cooperative and equitable model in the universe of labor relations. Only then, heteronomous work will be an opportunity for social growth.
