Integrating TCNs in Andalusia

Abstract

HOME/2012/EIFX/CA/CFP/4248 *30-CE-0586564/00-20).

This chapter includes DIVERSE Project key findings in the region of Andalusia and Spain regarding existing practices on diversity management in organizations (companies, NGOs and public administrations), the participation of immigrants in NGOs, and the processes and existing practices for the recognition and validation of titles, competences and prior learning of immigrants. We discuss on how all these aspects have an impact on social integration of immigrants and social cohesion in contemporary societies, and how diversity enrich Europe. We finish proposing some key areas where new policies or tools could be developed in order to encourage the reinforcement of integration of immigrants and interculturality. The DIVERSE project – Diversity Improvement as a Viable Enrichment Resource for Society and Economy was supported by the European Commission through the European Integration Fund (Grant Agreement No. HOME/2012/EIFX/CA/CFP/4248 *30-CE0586564/00-20).
