Abstract

Es un análisis teórico y empírico del papel de la educación en la estratificación y movilidad social. Utiliza materiales procedentes de encuestas y registros para conocer los cambios de nivel educativo entre padres e hijos y los cambios en el nivel ocupacional. Incluye reflexiones teóricas sobre consciencia, identidad y aspiraciones de clase social.
