Tolerancia a Rosellinia necatrix de plantas de fresa transformadas con el gen ATNPR1

Abstract

En este trabajo hemos evaluado la tolerancia a R. necatrix de 15 líneas transgénicas de fresa transformadas mediante Agrobacterium tumefaciens AGL1 portando el plásmido PK7WG2NPR1, que contenía el gen AtNPR1 y el marcador de la neomicina fosfotransferasa (nptll). Se utilizaron plantas de 6 meses de edad que fueron inoculadas a la dosis 1 g/L de trigo colonizado por el patógeno ajustada en ensayos anteriores y aplicado al sustrato de cada maceta. Las plantas fueron incubadas en cámara de ambiente controlado a 22-24º C, fotoperiodo de 12 horas y 120 mmol m-2 s-1 de irradancia. Se realizaron lecturas continuas de síntomas según una escala previamente establecida de 1= planta sana, 5= planta muerta, hasta que todas las plantas testigo habían muerto y se calculó el área bajo la curva del progreso epidérmico de la enfermedad estandarizado (ABCPES).
