Efecto in vitro de la combinación antagonista/fungicida sobre aislados de Rosellinia necatrix

Abstract

Se ha estudiado el efecto combinado del hongo antagonista Trichoderma, y el fungicida de contacto Fluazinam sobre Rosellinia necatrix, agente causal de la podredumbre blanca (PB) del aguacate con el fin de potenciar el efecto de inhibición del crecimiento del patógeno in vitro utilizando la dosis mínima efectiva del fungicida. En un primer experimento se determinó la dosis mínima efectiva del fungicida, mediante el estudio de 5 concentraciones (0; 0,01; 0,05; 0,1; 0,5 ppm) sobre 9 aislados del patógeno (rn 10, rn 12, rn 17, rn 30, rn 33, rn 50, rn 53 y rn 320) representantes de diferentes grupos de virulencia, midiendo diariamente el crecimiento de las colonias fungicas en placas de Petri con las diferentes concentraciones del fungicida y calculando el área bajo la curva del crecimiento micelial. Este experimento se repitió 3 veces. Las cuatro concentraciones 0,01- 0,5, inhibieron el crecimiento del patógeno entre el 44-81%, siendo 0,01 ppm la dosis efectiva más baja. En un segundo experimento se estudió el efecto de la combinación de esta dosis efectiva, compatible con 3 aislados de Trichoderma spp. (CH 101, CH 303 y CH 304.1) previamente seleccionados por nuestro grupo como agentes de biocontrol de la PB, y una dosis superior a modo de control, sobre el crecimiento de los 9 aislados del patógeno. Para ello se evaluó el mismo parámetro que en el anterior experimento, de los diferentes aislados del patógeno sembrados en medio de cultivo con el fungicida y donde previamente había crecido uno de los aislados de Trichoderma en cultivo de celofán. Este experimento se repitió dos veces. La combinación de Fluazinam a una dosis de 0.01 ppm con el aislado CH 101, aumentó la capacidad de inhibición sobre el patógeno, en un 13% y un 23% respecto a la aplicación individual del antagonista y del fungicida, respectivamente. Mientras que para los aislados CH 303 y CH 304.1 esta combinación no dio lugar a mayor inhibición que la que presentaban por separado Trichoderma y Fluazinam. Cabe destacar que para ambos experimentos, los aislados de menor virulencia (rn 12 y rn 49) presentaron una tolerancia al fungicida mayor que los de mayor virulencia (rn 320 y rn 53).
