[EN] Mango (Mangifera indica L.) is a tropical fruit tree from South East Asia, which is cultivated in tropical and subtropical areas worldwide. The importance of this crop contrasts with the paucity of information on its reproductive biology. The aim of this Thesis is to study the reproductive biology of mango. This main objective is developed along three objectives: (1) characterization of the flower to fruit process, (2) study of the progamic phase and fertilization, and (3) the evaluation of pollen response to temperature and putative self-incompatibility in this species.
