Arqueología Social Latinoamericana y Arqueología de las Mujeres: un encaje incompleto

Para los autores, si se pretende avanzar hacia una lectura realmente globalizadora de las sociedades del pasado (y del presente) no se puede prescindir de los instrumentos interpretativos proporcionados por la Arqueología de las Mujeres. Y es igualmente evidente que, para conseguir una Arqueología efectivamente militante y social, no se pueden negar unos límites connaturales en la concepción materialista de la historia, y en el caso específico en el paradigma clásico de la producción, entendida exclusivamente como producción, intercambio y consumo de objetos y alimentos.
