Tratamiento de residuos de vinazas y lodos de depuradora mediante vermicompostaje

Abstract

Se estudia el proceso de vermicompostaje con Eisenia fetida como ecotecnología para la reducción de lodos de depuradora urbana y de vinazas de la industria alcoholera utilizando estiércol de conejo como sustrato estructurante. La composición de la mezcla inicial influye en las características del vermicompost final. Todos los productos finales son oscuros, homogéneos y libres de olores, aunque de diferente calidad. Los vermicomposts con lodo de depuradora tienen mayor tasa de humificación, contienen más sustancias húmicas y nutrientes, menor relación C/N, menor salinidad y mayor contenido de metales totales que los vermicomposts con vinazas. El vermicompost Vo se sitúa entre ambos.
