MODELADO DE LA FLUENCIA PLASTICA EN MATERIALES

Abstract

Esta tesis doctoral es el resultado del trabajo realizado en el Departamento de Matem aticas de la Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, UCLM, y en el Departamento de Metalurgia F sica del Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Metal urgicas, CENIM-CSIC. El desarrollo de este trabajo tiene dos vertientes. Por un lado, toma como punto de partida los estudios sobre modelos diferenciales (que emplean ecuaciones diferenciales) para la deformaci on en caliente de metales encabezados por el Prof. Alan K. Miller y el Prof. Oleg. D. Sherby. Estos modelos se desarrollaron en la segunda mitad de la d ecada de los setenta y la d ecada de los ochenta en la Universidad de Standford, Estados Unidos. Por otro lado, se enmarca en la l nea de investigaci on relativa al modelado de materiales met alicos policristalinos bajo condiciones de alta temperatura y alta velocidad de deformaci on del Departamento de Metalurgia F sica del CENIM. En concreto, este trabajo toma como referente investigaciones previas plasmadas en la tesis doctoral realizada por el Dr. Ignacio Rieiro Mar n y dirigida por el Dr. Manuel Cars Cebri an. Este trabajo presenta un estudio integral acerca del modelado macrosc opico de la respuesta mec anica de metales bajo deformaci on en caliente. La palabra integral hace referencia a la visi on global o total de esta tesis. En este sentido, las investigaciones realizadas comprenden desde el tratamiento de los datos de m aquina de torsi on hasta su posterior modelado diferencial. Asimismo, en esta tesis se conectan las t ecnicas matem aticas de Optimizaci on, Interpolaci on y An alisis Multivariante con las evidencias experimentales obtenidas del equipo mec anico de torsi on para cuatro materiales de diferentes caracter sticas. El objetivo principal de esta ligaz on es tratar de mejorar los resultados que existen hasta la fecha acerca de la deformaci on en caliente de metales.
