Algunos desarrollos recientes en la articulación de lógicas temporales

Abstract

Tras estudiar la diferencia entre las lógicas cronológicas y las temporales --que arrancan de la obra de Prior--, se propone una lógica no gradualista y contradictorial del transcurso temporal, que se acerca más a las cronológicas (las de inspiración russelliana, que dejan de lado el tiempo verbal y se sitúan en un plano objetivo). Se articula esa lógica con un cálculo combinatorio; se muestra cómo pueden implementarse formalmente ciertas ideas filosóficas sobre la autocontradicción del flujo temporal y la no-coincidencia plena de una duración con otra, ni siquiera consigo misma; lo simultáneo nunca lo es del todo y, con relación a sí mismo, cualquier acaecimiento es en parte pasado y en parte futuro. La posterioridad es cuestión de grado.
