Caracterización genética de patrones frutales de hueso

Abstract

En una segunda fase, con un número mayor de cebadores, se procedió a completar el estudio de los patrones dentro de cada uno de los grupos. De este modo, en el grupo de los híbridos almendro x melocotonero, aparecieron dos grupos claramente separados, por una parte los P. amygdalo-persica y por otra los P. persica x p. davidiana. En el grupo de los ciruelos de crecimiento rápido los Mirobolanes (P. cerasifera) aparecían diferenciados de los Mariana (P. cerasifera x P. munsoniana). En el grupo de los ciruelos de crecimiento lento, los patrones P. domestica y P. insititia, no forman agrupaciones diferentes, posiblemente debido a que ambas especies se han cruzado frecuentemetne de forma natural o en programas de mejora.

En este trabajo se han utilizado los marcadores moleculares RAPD para caracterizar patrones pertenecientes al género Prunus y analizar estadisticamente su nivel de similitud. Se han estudiado patrones frutales seleccionados en la EEAD (Estación Experimental de Aula Dei) comparados con patrones obtenidos en otros centros de investigación. En total se han caracterizado 4 patrones, pertenecientes a diferentes especies: 1°. amygdalo-persica, P. persica x P. davidiana, P. cerasifera, P. domestica y P. insititia, además de otros híbridos lnterespecificos.

De un totol de 80, se e1igieron 7 cebadores quer pemuitieron evaluar la diversdad genética existente entre los 41 patrones. A partir del análisis de los 41 patrones se obtuvo una clasificación que concuerda con la clasificación morfológica. Asimismo, se confirmó la posible pertencencia del patrón Mirobolán 29C al grupo de los Mariana (P. cerasifera x P. munsoniana).

Los patrones se agruparon inicialmente en tres grupos, de acuerdo con la clasificacion morfológica (híbridos almendro x melocotonero, ciruelos de crecimiento rápido y ciruelos de crecimiento lento. Utilizando 2 patrones de cada uno de esos grupos, se realizó una selección inicial de cebadores.
