Aspersores de borde: análisis de diferentes alternativas

Abstract

[EN]Several studies have analyzed the irrigation quality of the sprinkler solid-set system (Tarjuelo y col., 1994; Playan y col., 2005; Dechmi y col., 2003a; Dechmi y col., 2003b). In fact, the effect of the sprinklers, localized at the field borders, on the final irrigation quality of the total field has not been addressed in the literature. Two typical solutions for field boundaries are used: 1) partial rotation sprinklers (SC) and 2) total rotation sprinkler equipped with a deflection plate (PD). In this work we have analyzed the differences in term of water emitted by the sprinkler and in term of irrigation quality between the last two solutions, we have also analyzed the adequate solution in order to incorporate it in the field irrigation. The results revealed that partial rotation sprinklers have been the best solution in term of irrigation quality. Moreover, the relative orientation, with respect to the wind, of the deflection plates as well as the partial rotation sprinklers has a clear effect on the irrigation uniformity under windy conditions. In windy conditions, the water distribution in the zone equipped with PD is more affected than the zone equipped with SC (one or two nozzles) and CC sprinklers.
