Abstract

Conviene anotar expresamente los supuestos convencionales que han servido para delimitar el material recogido. En los tres primeros volúmenes de la Bibliographia Chemica Hispanica se han incluído libros y folletos de tema químico impresos hasta 1950 y publicados en España o escritos por espa-. ñoles desde el último cuarto del siglo xv hasta la primera mitad del xx. Quedan así excluídas las ediciones extranjeras de obras de autores procedentes de la Hispania romana o visigótica, al·Andalus y los reinos cristianos ibéricos bajomedievales. Por otra parte, el volumen cuarto está dedicado a las revistas químicas impresas en España hasta 195.0. Los artículos aparecidos en las más importantes y los publicados por españoles en revistas extranjeras de circulación internacional serán objeto de una serie de suplementos que se editarán en microficha.
