Abstract

[EN]The content of hydrosoluble boron is studied out of 12 soil sections representing the provinces of Cáceres and Zamora, determining the level of boron in the different horizons of each of them. Except in soils I, III and IV, in horizons A12 and (B) of VII and C1 of X, the results obtained are low even causing deficiencies in the cultures. We could deduce from the statistical research that there is not a meaningful correlation between the hydrosoluble boron and the main characteristics of these soils, being clay the only factor which seems to make influence of the availability of the boron which is assimilated.
