Abstract

[EN]In these experiments it has been tested the nematocial effect of a group of spanish inorganic fertilizers, for application to pastures, on the freeliving larvae of Ostertagia ostertagi. The work was carried out in field experiments and under laboratory conditions. The small plots of pasture articially contaminated, Urea at a dose of 300 Kg/Ha., reduced in 68 % the number of infective larves. Figures about 50-60% of reduction using 5-10-20 and 0-14-17 complexes respectively were observed. Compound 4-12-8 shows relatively little effect and practically no effect was obtained with Lime and Superphosphate at 18%. The significance of the results of these experiments, in relation to prophylasis of some parasitosis which ocurred in ruminants mantained in extensive and semi-extensive systems, are discussed.
