Seguimiento de la calidad y cantidad de los retornos de riego en riegos del alto Aragón. Estado de la cuestión.

Abstract

En este trabajo se presentan los resultados del seguimiento de la calidad de agua medida en seis puntos ubicados dentro de la red de desagües del sistema de Riegos de Alto Aragón (RAA) durante el periodo octubre de 2007 a septiembre de 2011. Este trabajo se realizó dentro de los proyectos “Control de la calidad medioambiental de los retornos de riego en la Comunidad General de Riegos del Alto Aragón” y “Evaluación y medidas de control de fuentes difusas de contaminación del agua para la sostenibilidad económica y ambiental de los sistemas agrícolas de regadío en Aragón”. Ambos proyectos han sido fi nanciados por LA CAIXA en concepto de ayuda a las actividades de I+D, y Riegos del Alto Aragón, principalmente a través de la construcción de los aforos requeridos que representan la inversión más importante de los dos proyectos. El objeto principal de estos dos proyectos es caracterizar la contaminación inducida por el regadío en el sistema de Riegos del Alto Aragón y calibrar un modelo hidrológico y de transporte de solutos que permita simular los efectos medioambientales de las prácticas agrícolas asociadas al regadío en las condiciones del Valle Medio del Ebro.
