[EN] The first part of the precedent paper gives a brief revision of the different types of trawl fishing gear used in the Vinaroz coast (Easthern Spain), starting with those used before introduction of motor craft (1925) and following with description of the different types of trawls as actually in use. Four types of "bou", the standard (fig. 2), the "charleston" (fig. 3), the Valencian (fig. 4) and the Italian (fig. 5), are recognized and differ in the part taht runs above the bottom; every one of the different models is specially suited for a particular type of bottom. The dimensions of meshes in the rear part of the "bou", in their relation to the size of catches fishes (Mullus barbatus and Gadus capelanus), has been studied in a series of experimental runs along the coast between Benicarló and san Carlos de la Rápita (Easthern Spain), using meshes of 10-11 mm, 14 mm and 20 mm in square, on bottoms of 12,5, 30 and 50 fathoms. The smaller meshes have a high destructive effect, but those of 20 mm are perhaps too great, when take into account the economical aspects and the poor condition of our fishing grounds. It is suggested that a mesh of 18 mm square would be the fittest. [...] Antedon rosaceum, Pinna nobilis
