[EN] In this paper the concentration of chlorinated hydrocarbons (CH) are determined in the dorsal muscle and guts of horse mackerel and blue whiting, on wet weight and lipid content basis, that we gives a name of extractable organic matter (EOM) as more correct. The samples were caughted during cruises Galicia II and Galicia III. The estimation of PCB and DDT was performed by gas-chromatography (ECD-GC). The organochlorine concentration based upon EOM versus percentage EOM, in the horse mackerel, are closely correlationated (fig. 4), an explanation of the EOM-dependence is suggested. In the same species is also found a correlation between the level of CH in the muscle and guts, upon EOM basis respectively, being not significative in the blue whiting
