Abstract

[EN]An attempt is made to demostrate the relationships between species diversity and landscape diversity. To do so, the work was carried out in three well differentiated zones (spaces) of the province of Salamanca (Spain): the Armuña area, the typical "dehesa" area and the foothills of the Sierra de Béjar. The methodology includes, apart from sampling of the vegetation and the division of the zones into different sectors, diversity expressions and their two components (richness and equitability), heterogeneity, multifactorial analysis and dominance-diversity curves. A new index is also proposed for the joint calculus of the species-landscape diversity. Both diversities are seen to be very closely related, though the importance acquired by their components is different. The relationship is also appreciated through the heterogeneity (diversity β)and through the new formula proposed, obtaining parallel results in all cases. Multifactorial analysis of correspondances and the dominance-diversity curves helps to clarify certain aspects concerning the diversity numers obtained.
