[EN]A study of the typology and survey of soils from Hinojosa de Duero municipy reveals that the most representative soils units are: distric Fluvisol, Litosol and éutric, distric, gleyic Cambisols; soils on slopes are cultivated in terraces, a procedure reducing erosion. The trophy level in granitic soils is low, whereas that on shales is variable, the latter mainly due to intermixed calcoschists.
