Abstract

[EN]The most remarkable average solar radiation that affects the topography of Salamanca is calculated according to the orientation and slope. In the area of study, great differences on intensity of total radiation are noticed in the squares of Béjar, Ciudad Rodrigo, Villar del Ciervo y los Arribes del Duero which have high slopes and so influence on those differences. Great contrasts of radiation are also observed in Fermoselle and Vilvestre, alternating in its orography great undulations with high slopes. On the contrary, there are many areas with smooth slopes in the province where the differences of solar radiation that influence upon them minimizes. The areas of Villamor de los Escuderos, Ledesma, Cantalpino, Vitigudino, Barbadillo, Alba de Tormes, Las Veguillas, Matilla de los Caños del Río, Salamanca y Villavieja de Yeltes.
