Abstract

[EN] The use of discrete PVDF sensor patches for the detection of structural modes of a thin-plate beam is considered. For this, an orthogonality condition based on the strain energy of the beam in flexion is adapted for discrete sensors. The results are compared with the use of discrete displacement measurements and also using different detection strategies.
