[EN]In this work a study is made of the porometer method for the calculation of crop transpiration. For the fulfilment of the experiment, a plot a wheat is used in which a total of 432 transpiration measurements are done and as many others of stomatal resistance of the abaxial and adaxial surfaces of the leaf. The dayly patterns of transpiration from the abaxial and adaxial surfaces of the leaf are compared, relating transpiration with stomatal resistance throughout the measurement days. Finally, the advantages and inconvenients that the method has are analyzed and some suggestions are made on the kinds of works in which its use is advisable.
