[EN]The present work describes the comparision of plots which exhibit a large abundance of Taeniatherum caput-medusae(L.) Nevski with neigh-bouring plots in which this species is present in much smaller proportions. The aim of this is to provide a description of such communities. In a general analysis, the separation of plots with T. caput-medusae is quite clear. However, even though Taenitherum is eliminated, the scheme is maintained, due both to the indifferentiation implied, by the loss of the dominant species and to the uniformity created by other subordinate species. A more detailed analysis shows that in spite of this subordinate species induced uniformity, certain local features are outstanding. Soil analysis may be interpreted as a successional sequence. Younger zones contrast with a group of older zones. However, in both, the plots with Taeniatherum are situated at the origin of the coordinates. The initial divergence in the succession and the final convergence, together with the decrease in developmental rhythm, are other outstanding events.
