Abstract

The palaces of Tordesillas, Astudillo, Carmona and Seville presents a series of common characteristics that allow us to envision the use of forms and spaces with functions clearly related to the display of the sovereign within an adequate framework for their exaltation in front of his subjects. The Alcazar of Seville is the culmination of this program with the most sophisticated solutions.
