Abstract

El desarrollo urbanístico de Madrid desde los años 1980 a finales de la década de los 90 hizo que su Ayuntamiento, que ya había promovido la realización entre 1985 y 1991 de un Mapa Acústico parcial de la ciudad, pensase en extender el ámbito de éste a todo el término municipal. Siguiendo el mismo criterio anterior, se superpuso una cuadrícula sobre el plano de Madrid, y se llevaron a cabo registros sonoros de 5 minutos en cada vértice de la misma, en los puntos de medición fuera del área anteriormente estudiada, y en algunos puntos ya medidos anteriormente, que sirviesen de control para estudiar las variaciones del ruido de tráfico desde entonces. El dispositivo de medición consistió en un conjunto de seis puestos de registro simultáneos, compuestos por un sonómetro de precisión, situado a 2 m de altura sobre el suelo, conectado a un registrador DAT, cuya puesta en marcha y parada se efectuaba simultáneamente en los seis puestos mediante control vía radio. Como en la primera fase, se obtenían, fundamentalmente, los niveles L_eq 5 min , y se contabilizaban manualmente los vehículos, por categorías, que pasaban frente al micrófono durante el tiempo de registro.
