La ausencia de ftsH impide la liberación de viriones TP712 en Lactococcus lactis

Abstract

FtsH es una proteasa-chaperona de membrana conservada que regula la calidad de las proteínas y se activa en condiciones de estrés. De hecho, forma parte del regulón de CesSR, un sistema de dos componentes que regula la respuesta al estrés sobre la envoltura celular en Lactococcus lactis. Además, FtsH posee funciones reguladoras en algunos microorganismos, como la decisión lisis-lisogenia del fago lamba en Escherichia coli.

Comunicación presentada en la 7ª Reunión de la Red Temática BAL (Participación de las Bacterias Lácticas en la Salud Humana y en la Calidad Alimentaria), celebrada en Madrid los días 4 y 5 de julio de 2013.
