[EN] Strange that Pierre Clastres remained virtually unknown as a ignota terra for Postprocesualist Archaeology neither explored nor exploited. But the same Postmodernists who have assaulted the shelves of libraries looking for the trendiest seasoning to recycle theoretical thought, left alone for a long time to Clastres. Not only do they, in fact not Ethnology, History and other social sciences have given special attention. And it is hard to understand why, because his Anthropology is very provocative, stimulating and potentially useful. Besides being imbued with a strange anarchoid aftertaste that makes rare not enjoyed greater appeal among libertarians and different alternative sign. Moreover, the thought and practice of Clastres foreshadow the Postmodern Turn standing outside all Grand Narratives. His intention has been no other than to think about specific social phenomena in a fiercely original and genuine form. This paper is built on the reprint of a 1984 text by me showing a Clastres primary use in Archaeology. It also adds an introductory text and one epilogue. The first makes a contextualization of Clastres use mainly within Archeology, and the last points out to potential research horizons.
