La memoria colectiva de las mujeres del Sobrarbe sobre la Guerra Civil

Abstract

Las autoras con este trabajo buscan recuperar recuerdos, hechos, imágenes, mitos y sensaciones sobre la Guerra Civil española que permanecían en la memoria individual y colectiva de las mujeres de la comarca del Sobrarbe. Este trabajo de investigación intenta abarcar un periodo determinante cuya huella ha sido indeleble en la memoria de muchas personas; pero cuyos testimonios, en cuestión de pocos años, pueden desaparecer absolutamente, sin que haya habido una transmisión suficiente de los recuerdos y vivencias de una generación a otra. Dada la mayor longevidad de las mujeres frente a los hombres, actualmente disponemos de un mayor número de testimonios femeninos. Las mujeres aportan unos testimonios doblemente interesantes, pues ellas fueron afectadas por la guerra en su vida cotidiana y, al mismo tiempo, pueden transmitirnos las noticias, los hechos, las narraciones que llegaban del frente, oídas a menudo directamente de sus propios familiares y amigos.
