[EN]Aragon’s noblewomen in Early Modern Spain were the essential base which allowed the development of the biggest families in the Kingdom. Their names, interweaved in their families genealogies, rescue educated ladies, supporting wives and empowered mothers, who managed some of the Spanish most important states. These women were visible in public world and they were owners of their private spaces. Noblewomen fought to preserve and extend their families’ rights and powers.
