[ES]A lo largo del siglo XVIII existieron diversas vías de enajenación de títulos nobiliarios, siendo una de ellas la venta privada entre particulares, un sistema que, aunque más excepcional que otros, permitió igualmente el acceso a la nobleza titulada de diversos individuos que disponían de caudal suficiente para invertir en estos honores. El presente trabajo analiza en un periodo concreto, los reinados de Felipe V y Fernando VI, cómo funcionó este mercado, y quiénes fueron los compradores y vendedores de una de las mercedes más excelsas que otorgaba el monarca.
[EN]Throughout the eighteenth century there were diverse means to sell nobility titles, one of which was the private sale between individuals, a system that, although more exceptional than others, also allowed the access to the titled nobility of persons who had wealth enough to buy these honors. This study analyzes in a specific period, the reigns of Felipe V and Fernando VI, how worked this market, and who where the buyers and the sellers of this titles.
