[ES]La siguiente comunicación muestra un primer análisis sobre la figura de uno de los elementos sociales más interesantes en la Córdoba de la Edad Moderna: los criptojudíos provenientes de Portugal. Comúnmente identificados como «marranos» por sus detractores, jugaron un muy importan papel socioeconómico entre 1580-1700, captando la atención de la Inquisición, su más poderoso enemigo.
[EN]The present communication presents a first analysis on the figure of one of the most interesting social element in Cordoba during the Modern Age: the crypto-jews who were from Portugal. Commonly identified like «marranos» by their enemies, they play a very important economical role between 1580-1700, catching the attention of the Inquisition, his most powerful enemy.
