Abstract

En este artículo se analizan las dificultades que tienen los partidos socialistas para retener a sus votantes situados en la izquierda ideológica. A través del caso del Partido Socialista de Portugal se demuestra cómo, ante una situación económica adversa, los ciudadanos de izquierda son más exigentes con un gobierno socialista que los ciudadanos de derecha con un gobierno conservador.
