[ES]Los moralistas jesuitas desarrollaron a lo largo de los siglos XVI y XVII una importante producción literaria basada en la exposición de las distintas situaciones en las que se podía encontrar el cristiano y cual era el comportamiento virtuoso en cada una de ellas. A través de estas obras trataron de introducir en la sociedad usos y costumbres más propios de las comunidades eclesiásticas que de las civiles, sacralizándose la formación del concepto de civilidad de la sociedad a caballo entre los siglos XVI y XVII.
[EN]Jesuit moralists developed througout sixteenth and seventeenth centuries an important literary production based on exposure of the different situations in which the christian could be found and what was virtuous behaviour. Through these treatises tried to introduce into civil society customs of the ecclesiastical communities, sacralizing the formation of the concept of civility in the society on the borderline between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.
