Abstract

The Iron Age sites of Nandá (Island of Corisco, Equatorial Guinea) are among the most important of its kind in Equatorial Africa. Three field seasons (2009, 2011, 2012) have revealed around 40 burials and many domestic features (pits, dumps and postholes). The sites were occupied between 50 BC and 1200 AD and offer a complete cultural sequence for this part of Africa during that period. Here we present a summary of the results of the 2012 field season.
