Contenido y producción de proteína en cultivares de girasol

Abstract

Se evalúa la productividad y eficiencia forrajera de cultivares de girasol a lo largo de su ciclo de crecimiento, bajo tres condiciones de cultivo (regadío, secano fértil y secano pobre), usando el contenido y producción de proteína como índices de referencia. En los tres ensayos las concentraciones de proteína en los cultivares descienden bruscamente (aproximadamente a la mitad) con la madurez de la planta, hasta el corte 3º, para luego mantenerse. Por el contrario, las producciones ascienden durante todo el ciclo de crecimiento (entre 4 y 5 veces desde el corte 1º al 5º). Conjugando producción y calidad, para las condiciones de la zona, los cultivares más productivos y eficientes son: Numa 17, G-133, Hysun 33 y Numa 6 (para regadío), Hysun 33 y 6 (para secano fértil) y Florasol, Numa 6 y Hysun 33 (para secano pobre), siendo éstos los recomendados en cada caso.
