Abstract

[EN] Today it is possible to obtain broad band absorbers without using fibrous or granular materials. In our case, the purpose is the utilisation of veils of different textiles and materials, with reduced thickness and surface density but with adjusted flow resistance in order to obtain optimal acoustic absorption. The paper shows the results obtained through the acoustical absorption of veils of different nature, that it can be very competitive in front of the traditional materials.
