Abstract

[EN] This paper deals with lithology, sedimentology and paleontology of two serie s in the Gelida zone (province of Barcelona); Sheet n." 420 (San Baudilio de Llobregat). The existence of a deltaic-like structure of Tortonian age is suggested as a logical consecuence of this paper.

[ES] Se estudia la litología, sedimentologia y paleontología de dos series del sector de Gelida (prov. de Barcelona) ; Hoja 420 (San Baudilio de Llobregat). Como consecuencia de dicho estudio se sugiere la existencia de una estructura tipo deltaica de edad Tortoniense.
