[EN]: Solutions originated in media in which clay minerals and stoichiometric calcium phosphates were suspended are used to study the reliability of the phosphate and lime chemical potential method applied to the identification of phosphates in soil-like systems. In media in which considerable amounts of precipitated dicalcium phosphate (DCPD) are present the phosphate and lime potentials can vary between 1.5 and 1.8 and between 2.5 and 3.7 respectively. It is concluded that this method has only an orientative value. Another method consisting in calculating the value of the solubility product of the phosphates in the media, has been applied to the same solutions. This method proves to be better in some aspects than that of the potentials.
