Abstract

Se prologa aquí el libro de Idoia Murga Castro: Pintura en danza. Los artistas españoles y el ballet, cuyas páginas se dedican a los artistas españoles que sumaron su creatividad a la del mundo de la danza entre 1916 y 1962. Se comenta, por tanto, un libro que aborda el estudio de los artistas que, entre esas relevantes fechas, trabajaron como escenógrafos y figurinistas para la danza y que, compartiendo la misma línea de avance y estímulo creativo, desarrollaron una producción plástica significativa, con gran deseo de internacionalización, extendida entre los fenómenos de la Edad de Plata y del exilio de 1939, mediados por el agitado y revelador periodo bisagra del conflicto bélico español.
