[EN]The seasonal variations in the concentrations of ashes N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Na, Fe, Mn, Cu and Zn in the pasture lands of a dehesas in the Province of Salamanca are studied. The sampling was monthly and took place during the period from September 1978 to October 1979. In general, the content of ashes, N, P and K evolves in a similar manner, reaching highest values in spring and lowest values in summer. However, the concentrations of Ca, Mg and Mn show sharp oscilations at zone or fasture-type level. Those of Na, Cu and Zn are totally different from eteach other, but while in the Na concentration there are scarce fluctuations throughout the seasons, there are marked variations in the other two. The elements Mg and Na are outstanding due to their relatively low concentrations which lie between 003 and 0.15% and 0.02 and 0.14% for the former and the latter, respectively. In the pasture land of the dehesa studied, it is usual to find deficiencies in the elements Na, Cu and Zn throughout the year, while it is only in spring that the concentrations of N, P, Ca and Mg rise above the critical levels of an adequate nutrition for rumiants.
[ES]Se estudian las variaciones estacionales en las concentraciones de cenizas, N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Na, Fe, Mn, Cu y Zn en los pastizales de una dehesa de la provincia de Salamanca, efectuando tomas de muestras mensuales en el período de Septiembre 1978-Octubre 1979. Los contenidos de cenizas N, P y K evolucionan en general, de manera semejante, alcanzando las cotas más altas en primavera y las más bajas en verano. Las concentraciones de Ca, Mg, Mn presentan bruscas oscilaciones a nivel de zonas o tipos de pastizal. Las evoluciones de las concentraciones de Na, Cu y Zn son totalmente diferentes entre sí, en tanto que para el Na se observan escasas variaciones a lo largo de las estaciones, para los otros dos elementos se producen grandes fluctuaciones. Destacan concentraciones relativamente bajas para los elementos Mg y Na que oscilan desde 0.03-0.15% para el primero y 0.02-0.14% para el segundo. Los pastizales de esta dehesa son deficientes para el animal pastante durante todo el año en los elementos Na, Cu y Zn y en N, P, Ca y Mg sólo superan los niveles críticos en primavera.
