Espectroscopía infrarroja de muy alta resolución: construcción de un espectrómetro por diferencia de frecuencias

Abstract

En esta Memoria se describe la construcción y puesta a punto de un espectrómetro infrarrojo, para espectroscopia de absorción en el limite Doppler. Para ello se ha empleado la técnica de generación de la frecuencia diferencia en un medio no lineal. La radiación procedente de un láser de Ar(+) y la de uno de colorantes (R6G) (ambos funcionando en modo único longitudinal y transversal, y con sistemas de estabilización activa de la frecuencia) se mezclan en un cristal (ópticamente no lineal) de LiNb+=83). En las condiciones en las que se cumple la condición de ajuste de fase, se genera una onda electromagnética a la frecuencia diferenciada entre las frecuencias de las radiaciones visibles. La radiación generada es colimada, monocromática y sintonizable, y constituye la fuente para un espectrómetro monocanal sin elementos dispersores.
