Efecto de la sobreexpresión y del silenciamiento de genes del metabolismo de giberelinas sobre el desarrollo de tabaco

Abstract

Las giberelinas (GAs) son hormonas vegetales que regulan diversos porcesos del desarrollo y crecimiento de las plantas. Los niveles de GAs activas están reguladas por enzimas de biosíntesis y por enzimas de catabolismo. Mediante un abordaje de genética reversa se ha estudiado el papel de algunos genes del metabolismo de GAs en la homeostasis de los contenidos de GAs y en el desarrollo del Tabaco.

Tesis Doctoral realizada en la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia y Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC). Departamento de Biotecnología. Instituto de Biología Molecular y Celular de Plantas (IBMCP).-- Fecha de lectura 20 de mayo de 2008.

Este trabajo ha sido realizado gracias a una beca del Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia de España dentro del programa de becas de formación de personal investigador F.P.I.
