Procesos hidrotermales en las venas de segregación de andalucita de El Cardoso (Guadalajara, España)

Abstract

En El Cardoso (Guadalajara) existen venas de segregación de cuarzo con andalucita en esquistos estaurolíticos. Muestran un metamorfismo de grado medio, encuadrado en un esquema más amplio de un metamorfismo plurifacial y polifásico que va desde muy bajo grado (pelitas cloríticas) hasta alto grado (Gneisses con sillimanita y feldspato potásico). La andalucita se presenta en prismas cuadrangulares marrones zonados, deformados y fracturados con un tamaño máximo de 15 cm. El estudio por microscopía electrónica de barrido indicó que el zonado marrón claro-oscuro se debe únicamente a la diferencia de porcentajes de Fe2O3: 0,34% en el oscuro y 0, 07% en el claro. Los procesos hidrotermales modificaron la mineralogía de las venas de segregación con andalucita para originar diaspora, apatito, esfera y moscovita 2M1. Minerales que fueron analizados por DRX y EDAX.
