Mineralogía de sulfosales y sulfuros en los filones de Ateca, Cordillera Ibérica

Abstract

La mineralización de los filones localizados al sur de Ateca presenta una paragénesis relativamente simple constituida por sulfosales de Pb-Sb-Cu y sulfuros de metales base. Las observaciones microscópicas y los análisis por microsonda electrónica han confirmado la presencia de la semseyita como mineral principal, fundamentalmente aislada y algunas veces asociada con la bournonita y la galena. Este último mineral es también abundante y aparece junto a la esfalerita. La secuencia de deposición indica la existencia de cinco etapas, cuatro de mineralización y una de alteración: 1) Cu-Fe; 2) Pb-Sb; 3) Pb-Sb-Cu-Zn; 4) Ba, y 5) óxidos y sulfuros supergénicos. La segunda etapa es la de mayor desarrollo, con formación de bandas de centímetros de espesor y de semseyita separadas entre sí por cuarzo. La presencia y las temperaturas de homogeneización de inclusiones fluidas apuntan a una deposición de la mineralización por soluciones hidrotermales a unos 158-175ºC.
